18.4 Does having milk in tea reduce the absorption of antioxidants?

Adding milk to tea seems to make little difference to the absorption of antioxidants from tea.

18.5 Fruit and herbal teas
Teas based on fruits are probably safe to drink and may possess some of the health benefits associated with eating fruit.
Herbal teas may contain a number of active compounds and whilst some of these may be beneficial to health others may have an adverse effect on health.
Of the herbal teas peppermint tea appears to be safe and may be useful in alleviating the symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome.
