The Healthy Eating Club has sought sponsorship from non-food, non-pharmaceutical companies as this minimises conflicts of interest for both parties. As a result the site is sponsored by an Australian telecommunications company.

Minimising conflict of interest is particularly important, because it enables the Staff and Directors of the web-site to continue operating with professional integrity and credibility (which has ensured the success of the web-site) because we will be able to keep the information unbiased; this is somewhat difficult with sponsorship from within the same industry e.g. food or pharmaceutical industries.
